Three-quarters bound in green Morocco leather over marbled boards, with marbled end papers and gilt top edge. Gilt spines with raised bands. Octavo (8 1/2" x 5 3/4"). Auto-pen signature to the frontispiece of the first volume of Life and Letters.
Very good condition, with covers all intact, binding sturdy, and no notable issues to the text block observed. Color fading to the spines, from exposure to light. Minor wears including lightly bumped corners and scarce scuffing.
