A large and beautifully detailed polychrome painted wooden santo of St. Philomena, incised "HK 1929" to the base. St. Philomena, the patron saint of babies, infants, and youth, is here represented with the typical symbols of her martyrdom: holding an arrow, an anchor tied around her neck.

There are two holes drilled to the top of the figure's head and a few small holes drilled to the upper back, likely used for fastening the piece in its original location. There is one chip to the bottom of the robe. General rubbing and wear.
