In the spandrels are the four beasts of Revelation chapter 4. Marked PM to the bottom of the round relief element, and "ROMAN BRONZE WORKS N.Y." to the back base. Green/dark brown patina, a posthumous casting believed by the Manship Artists Residence & Studio in Cape Ann to be authorized by Paul Manship's son John Manship. Marked "P. Condition

The bronze is in overall good condition, noting wear including an area of scratches to the back, worn patina to the top of the right side, and a small abrasion near "Abideth." There is a broken marble plinth also present, which could be repaired and reattached if so desired.
