James Topping (Illinois, 1879-1948) Oil on board 24" x 20" An autumn landscape by the Chicago Regionalist painter, signed to the bottom left. The opposite side of the board is painted with a second landscape by Topping, framed to be visible from the reverse. Presented behind glass in a frame measuring 27 1/2" x 31 1/2".
The featured oil landscape shows no issues under blacklight very good condition. The reverse oil landscape is in poor to fair condition, having old residue from adhesive across large areas.
