A pair of rectangular porcelain vases with dragon-form handles, each vase finely decorated in blue and white with four unique vignettes of birds resting on branches (each vignette mirrored on the other vase), circa second quarter 20th century. Each bird scene is framed by incised meander border, and each vase is coral glazed at the base.
Each vase bears an apocryphal Qianlong mark to the underside, as well as an unknown script signature over the top of the Qianlong mark. Each measures 11 1/2" x 4 3/4" x 3 1/4".
Provenance: The estate of a Mission Hills collector. 100% of the proceeds from this lot will be donated to charity.
Very good condition, noting only one slight flake at the corner of one of the bases.
