A large and exceptional Chinese porcelain planter, decorated in blue and white with two five-clawed dragons flying among clouds, as well as a pagoda temple with calligraphic script dating the piece to the 34th year of the Republican period (1944), all beneath a meander key band at the top.
Measures 14" high x 16" diameter.
Provenance: The estate of a Mission Hills collector. 100% of the proceeds from this lot will be donated to charity.
Condition
Good to very good condition. There is some scattered spattering from the glazing/firing process, and minor flaking to the glaze along the rim.
