Emile Louis Picault (after) (French, 1833-1915) Bonaparte Bronze 13" x 7" x 4 3/4" A nicely cast greenish-brown patinated bust of a young Napoleon Bonaparte, cast in France during the first half of the 20th century. Set atop a marble pedestal with gilt metal mounts. Stamps to the lower back of the bronze: "Picault," "Syndicat des Fabr. de Bronzes 1818 Unis France" foundry seal, "EP" monogram, "Made in France," and "Bronze." Stamped to the metal plate on the underside of the plinth: "Made in France," "EP" monogram, and "Bronze."
Very good condition, with only minor rubbing to the patina.
