A kple kple three-face mask of the Baule people of Cote d'Ivoire, West Africa, used as part of goli ceremonies. Two side-by-side kple kple faces surmounted with horns, and unusually, a third face above is supported by a standing figure and a crocodile. Hand-carved, painted with polychrome pigments.
Measures 25" x 10 1/2" x 6".

Scuffing and wear to the pigments. There is a chipped loss at the bottom lip of the mask.
