An original three-color lithographic playbill on cream wove paper, commissioned by Le Theatre Libre for their 1893 double-bill of "Une Faillite" and "Le Poete et la Financier." Artist monogram in the plate, printer credit line to the bottom margin: "Paris - Imp. Eugene Verneau, 108, Rue de la Folie-Mericourt."
Provenance: A private collection, acquired from the Minotaur Galleries, with accompanying gallery certificate of authenticity.

Very good condition. Not removed from the frame.
