Pencil-signed and titled to the bottom margin. Presented behind glass in an ecru mat and black frame that measures 14 3/4" x 19 3/4".
The print was commissioned and circulated by the Friends of Art of Kansas State University. Benton's explanation of the image was that it was "a haying scene on the Martha's Vineyard farm of Denys Wortman, famous N.Y. newspaper cartoonist" (Fath, 76).

Good condition, with some apparent toning evenly distributed across the sheet inside the mat sight. The print has not been removed from the frame.
