A Persian (present day Iran) glazed pottery oil or herb jar, circa 18th c. or earlier (Safavid or early Qajar), decorated with blue and brown designs over a white ground.
Measures 8 1/2" x 8".
Chips to the foot and the rim. Some discoloration and craquelure to the glaze.
