A very fine gilt and patinated bronze of a woman, with a hidden cigar compartment hinged at the hairline. Wrapped in velvet at the shoulders, enamel eyes, and bejeweled decoration along the head, neckline, and earrings. On a turned slate base. Circa late 19th century. Measures 7 1/4" x 5 1/4". Very good condition, noting some wear to the patina, and very minor imperfections along the edges of the slate base.
