A pair of 19th century Victorian oil portraits on canvas mounted to boards, charmingly amateur in execution. Each measures 13 1/2" x 11 1/2", and each is presented in a frame measuring 16 1/2" x 14 1/2".
Fair to good condition. Inspection under blacklight reveals a good amount of over-painting to the portrait of the lady (in the background area, black dress area, and to the top of her forehead), as well as a small amount of crease in-painting to the portrait of the gentleman.
