A pine blanket chest with lift-top compartment over two dovetailed drawers. Exposed dovetail case construction, brass bail drawer pulls, forged iron hinges, and simple bracket feet. Original finish. New England, early 19th century.
Measures 24" x 41" x 18".
Generally weathered patina consistent with the age, including well-worn feet/ skirt, and scratches and discoloration to the top of the lid.
