A pine blanket chest with lift-top compartment over two dovetailed drawers. Country Chippendalestylings including shaped skirt bracket feet, and brass bail pulls. American, circa early 19th century.
Measures 40" x 38 1/2" x 20 1/2".
The chest is in very good condition, though the top compartment smells of mothballs. Mildly worn patina consistent with age.
