A fantastic antique Orientalist boudoir lamp circa 1925, with the central cast metal sculpture of an axe-wielding Mongolian horseback warrior in battle. The intricately reticulatedMoroccan-style metal shade is lined with mica, decorated with a beaded fringe and two glass teardrops on either side, and marked "Made in Syria." The lamp is fitted with a Hubbell pull-string socket. All set upon an octagonal marble plinth.
Measures 26" x 16" x 7".
Condition
The lamp is tested and working. One of the glass teardrops has been repaired. General wear to the patina.
