A major work by the Italian sculptor, listed asnumber 309 in the catalogue raisonne(O'Connor/Plazzotta, Trefoil Books, 1986). Numbered 4/12 to the base, alongside a Mariani Foundry mark.
Very good condition, noting a minor chip to one edge of the granite plinth.
