As the founder and leader of the influential Chicago Society of Etchers, Bertha Jaques has been credited as the person who "almost single-handedly initiated the etching revival in the 20th century." Pencil-signed and titled to the bottom margin. The glazed frame measures 14 3/4" x 11 1/4".
