An expansive and idyllic view of the mountainous American West; in the distance across the lake, a lone horseback rider leads a pack mule. Signed "B.R. Garvin" to the bottom right, and signed and titled to the reverse. Included with the work is a hand-written note from the artist about her inspiration for this work. Presented in a gilt frame that measures 40" x 46".
Provenance: A private collection, acquired in 1990 from Rosselli & Sons Art Gallery (Redding, CA).
Very good condition, with no issues noted under blacklight inspection.
