Two antique Russian Orthodox enameled bronze alloy icons:
1. A skladen travel icon, hinged diptych of the Protection of the Mother of God Pokrov. Marked "MBK" to the reverse. Each panel of the hinged diptych measures 6" x 3 1/4" x 1/4".
2. A crucifix icon, Christ depicted as the Savior on the cross, with the Veil of Veronica above his head and the skull of Adam at his feet. Engraved reverse, with a dealer tag that offers a date of 17th-18th century. Measures 9" x 5 3/4" x 1/4".
Good condition, with some rubbing and minor enamel wear.
