A full-length depiction of a 19th century Albanian Ottoman soldier standing in an arched doorway. Signed to the bottom right corner, and presented in a gilt relief frame. The frame measures 23 1/2" x 19".
Provenance: The Webster House collection.
The top edge of the paper has dipped just below the frame's sight edge, so the piece may be served by some adjustment within the frame. There is a small area of residue on the sheet, imperceptible except under raking light. Otherwise very good condition.
Not removed from the frame.
