A large pair of carved wooden figures, one a young man holding a fruit basket and the other a young woman with a dog at her heels. French, 19th century.
The young man measures 46 1/2" x 16" x 21", and the young woman measures 44 1/2" x 16" x 13".

Good condition. There are several hairline splits typical of age. On the young woman's right sleeve ruffle is a small loss.
