A 19th century American naval deck gun, incised "RIVER BOAT LAMONTE" amid stippled designs on the top of the iron barrel. 22 1/2" barrel with 3" bore, two loop handles. Three-leaf clover design around the touch hole.Stepped oak carriage outfitted with cast fittings and wheels.
Measures 16" x 30" x 15 1/2".
The paint on the carriage and wheels is later and a bit sloppy. Some corrosion visible inside the bore. General wear including small losses to the carriage.
