Three-quarters bound in red Morocco leather over marbled boards, with marbled end papers and gilt top edge. Gilt spines with raised bands. Octavo (8 3/4" x 6"). Auto-pen signature to the frontispiece of Sartor Resartus.
Two of the front covers have completely detached (Frederick the Great II, Wilhelm Meister II), and some covers have begun to split at the hinge. The binding remains sturdy throughout the set. No notable issues observed to any text block.
