A coffee table, chrome-plated steel overpainted in silver-gray, designed by Wolfgang Hoffmann (Austrian/American, 1900-1966) for Howell, circa 1936. Wolfgang Hoffmann (son of notable Vienna Secessionist and Wiener Werkstatte co-founder Josef Hoffmann) worked as Howell's designer in residence from 1934-1942.
Measures 17" h x 36" w x 22" d.
Good condition. The gray overpaint has rubbed away at some edges. Some grime accumulated. No chips to the inset glass.
