Each approximately 9 1/2" high
The three wood carvings of abstracted figures are dated 1970, the geometrically abstract wood carving is dated 1976. Each was crafted by artist, biochemist, writer, and polymath Wilfred Arnold. In addition to creating objects from mobiles to prints to furniture, Dr. Arnold was the author of The Illness of Vincent van Gogh: Chemicals, Crises, and Creativity (1994). Each signed and dated to the underside.
Provenance: The estate of the artist.
Good condition, noting a few stray moisture spots and minor abrasions.
