A Victorian oil portrait on oval shaped canvas. Unidentified lady in foreground with landscape on left side. Extensive detail in trained hand. The figure holds a monocle on chain and lace handkerchief. Portrait set in carved, gilt frame.
In frame, measures 14 inches tall by 12 inches wide and 1.25 inches deep.
Some over-painting in areas of the dress are visible under blacklight. A little bit of crackle to surface typical of the age.
