A hand-painted porcelain urn with cast metal mounts, including angel-form handles, a mother and child finial, and a base comprised of lions heads and faces. The painted scenes are two views of Heidelberg Castle (Germany). The lid removes to reveal an enclosed compartment. Circa early 20th century.
Measures 24" x 12" x 8 1/2".
Condition
No chips or cracks. Minor wear to the hand-painted finish, and a bit of general grime.
