Two polychrome pictorial covered baskets created by tribes indigenous to the American Southwest:
1. An oval Tohono O'odham (Papago) covered basket decorated with birds, measuring 8 1/2" x 13" x 8 3/4".
2. A round Hopi covered basket decorated with dogs, measuring 7 1/4" x 10 1/2" x 10 1/2".
Some general discoloration and wear. The oval Tohono O'odham basket has snapped and loose reeds at the base.
