Three 20th c. Japanese four-panel byobu screens, each hand-painted in a slightly varied manner with the same scene of eight horses in a landscape. Each with a red seal and calligraphic signature in the bottom right corner.
Each individual panel measures 36" x 17 1/2" (70" wide altogether unfolded); each screen measures 37" x 17 3/4" x 3 1/2" when folded.
Condition
Each is in good condition, with a few minor dings and scuffs across the set.
