Pencil-signed to the bottom margin. Presented behind anti-glare glass in a light gray mat and wooden frame that measures 16 1/8" x 20 1/2".
The print was commissioned and circulated by the Friends of Art of Kansas State University. Benton's explanation of the image was that it was "a haying scene on the Martha's Vineyard farm of Denys Wortman, famous N.Y. newspaper cartoonist" (Fath, 76).

Condition
Not laid down. The sheet hinged to the mat from the top of the sheet with archival tape. There is overall toning within the mat sight from exposure to light, but otherwise the print is very crisp and the sheet very clean.
