A Staffordshire children's mug, transfer blue on soft paste porcelain, circa 1840s. A central commemorative tribute, "To Washington, The Patriot of America," is flanked by two eagles riding upon shells over waves, each rising with wings addorsed.
Measures 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 2 3/4".
Minor overall crazing. There are two very small chips along the base.
