A Royal Vienna 14" porcelain charger, beautifully hand-painted and signed by the artist in the lower right. Titled Die Liebe ist leichter wie ein Schmetterling ("Love is lighter than a butterfly"). The mythological scene depicts Cupid flirting with Psyche, outweighed on a scale by a butterfly. Beehive (shield) mark in blue to the reverse. Mounted in a gilt frame that measures 19 1/2" x 19 1/2".
Not removed from the frame. Platter appears to be in excellent condition, frame is in very good condition (minor wear).
