Richard Corben was a celebrated illustrator and comic book artist, best known for his contributions to Heavy Metal Magazine, Marvel, DC, and Dark Horse Comics. His fantasy comics anthology Fantagor was published over a quarter century, including the long-running title Den. In 2012, on the heels of further recognition for his work on Dark Horse's Hellboy, he was elected to the Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame.
