Mount Vesuvius has not erupted since 1944, having previously erupted in 1929 and 1906. Titled to the reverse (partially illegible, including "Vesuvio"). Housed in a frame measuring 18 1/2" x 26".
Condition
There are two horizontal hairline cracks to the board: one just below the horizon line and another near the bottom sight edge. Some surface grime.
