A fine matching pair of Regency period watercolor portraits on paper, English, each signed and dated "EH 1825" to the bottom right.
Each mat sight measures 7 1/2" x 6 1/4". Each is housed behind glass in frames that measure 14" x 13".
Provenance: The estate of a Mission Hills collector. 100% of the proceeds from this lot will be donated to charity.
Some toning to each sheet. On the gentleman: a bit of rippling to the sheet, and light staining to the background above the head. On the lady: a scant amount of foxing to the left of the sheet.
