An exceptional three-piece English mirrored table plateau or surtout de table, of the Regency period and style, circa 1815. Sheffield silver with winged paw feet and gadrooned rim. Original mahogany boards on the underside incised "B x CXLVI" on each end. Fitted atop a silverplated base with bamboo motif and shaped stretchers. Measures 20 1/2" x 51 1/2" x 17 1/2".
Very good condition. All silverplate elements are without any notable issue. The mirrored surface shows small scuffs and scratches.
