An antique Polyphon music box with exposed spiral spring drive, circa 1900-1905. The walnut case is inlaid with floral marquetry; the interior lid is fitted with an original Polyphon lithograph. Inside the case is a removable wooden compartment cover (labeled "Tempo Regulator" on celluloid) containing many of the mechanical components.
Complete with 10 music discs (15 1/2").
No key is present to lock the case. Briefly tested and seems to be functioning properly, including beautifully tuned sound at the present. Some scuffing to the case, but overall cosmetically good.
