The piece was fundamentally changed from its original function, with the removal of a wheeled base and handles-- this change seems to have occurred mid-20th century based on the age of the added brackets. There are no front hooves. Scattered chipping to the paint. On the back of the horse (as mounted to the wall), the wood body has separated a bit at the seams.
