A fine Meiji period Japanese bronze lidded censer, footed rectangular form with
qilin finial and two shaped handles. Each of the censer's sides is decorated with a different floral motif incised upon a fan-shaped cartouche. Included with the lot is a contemporary wooden scroll-form stand.
Measures 7 3/4" x 7 1/4" x 4".
Provenance: The estate of a Mission Hills collector. 100% of the proceeds from this lot will be donated to charity.
