Pioneering photojournalist and industrial photographer Margaret Bourke-White was hired in 1935 to photograph the planes and operations of TWA, Pan-Am, and Eastern Airlines. This composition offers dramatic perspective of the sun-kissed wing of a TWA Douglas DC-2 on the tarmac. "Bourke-White from Pictures, Inc." credit stamp to the reverse, and "655 DKC" reference number in pencil.
Condition
Good condition, noting only a 1/4" edge tear in the margin at the bottom left of the sheet, and a possible old stray pen mark at the right edge of the image.
