An unsigned Grand Tour view of Capri, with fishing boats in the foreground. Presented behind glass in a frame that measures 15 1/2" x 19".
The sheet is not laid down, affixed to the back mat with a single tape hinge at the top of the sheet. Mat burn apparent on the reverse of the sheet, though it has no effect on the image given the opaque nature of gouache. There is a little bit of creasing to the sheet that doesn't interrupt the visual of the painting except under close observation under raking light. One spatter spot at the extreme left edge of the mat sight in the sky area.
