A late 19th century French mantel garniture in the form of a ewer, patinated and gilt bronze, and decorated in the manner of Clodion. Ornamentation includes a central bacchanalian parade of cherubim and putti, all-over grapevine motifs, and a ewer handle topped with a single cherub and concluding with a rams head.
Measures 23" x 15" x 10 1/2".
Provenance: The collection of Shirley Bush Helzberg.
Very good condition, with some wear to the patination.
