A Kuba lele helmet mask, comprised of a carved wooden face, woven fiber and cotton decorated with cowrie shells, beads, and fur. Democratic Republic of the Congo, circa mid-20th century.
The helmet mask measures approximately 22" x 9", and 26" high when displayed on its custom metal stand.
