A wheel-thrown tsutsu-gata chawan (cylindrical tea bowl) in light brown and white glazes, with a thumbprint dimple to one side near the base. Bears the artist's monogram stamp to the underside.
Provenance: From the collection of two alumni of the Kansas City Art Institute, acquired directly from the artist in the 1960s.
Very good condition, with no chips, cracks, or notable wear.
