A Punjabi jumlo wedding tunic, dyed cotton decorated with buttons, coins, beads, cowrie shells, and fine silk stitching. Eastern Pakistan, circa second quarter 20th century. The jumlo is presented on a custom wrought metal display stand, measuring 53" high and 13" x 7" at the base.

Also included is a torc necklace made by the Banjara nomadic people of Northwestern India. Silver alloy, decorated with many small bells to ward away evil spirits.

There is an open seam on one of the back shoulders. Some moisture staining, especially in the shoulders area. Two of the small drop bells are missing from the necklace.
