A Japanese porcelain bowl, to the outside blue ground with floral decoration, and to the inside a central archaistic phoenix surrounded by designs including three flying dragons. Circa early 20th century. Iron red script signature to the underside.

Measures 4" x 8 1/2".

There is one minor chip/flake to the rim. Remnant gilt moth designs on the blue ground have largely worn off over time.
