A mid-20th century etching and mezzotint on paper of men shoveling in a mine, Continental school (possibly French). Pencil-signed and titled illegibly to the bottom margin. Measures 13 1/2" x 17 1/2", presented behind glass in a frame that measures 24" x 27 1/2".
The liner has come somewhat loose within the frame. The top and right margins have some staining, perhaps from previous framing.
