The pocket watch has an enamel dial with a seconds register at the 6 o'clock position, roman numeral digits and blue steel hands. The movement is an Elgin; grade 119, model 2, class 56, with 13 jewels, size 6S. The hinged hunting case is 14k yellow gold with an etched scroll and star design with a flower bouquet on the back and a slightly raised plain banner on the front where a monogram could be placed. The case measures 39mm not including the crown and is made by Brooklyn Watch Case Co. The coin is a Liberty Head 2 1/2 dollar gold coin 1866 - S. It is in a bezel frame attached to a 10k yellow gold watch chain. Movement marked: "Elgin Natl. Watch Co., 5731603" Case marked on the interior: "14K B.W.C. co, 794502" Watch weight: 40.8 dwt Coin and chain combined weight: 5.3 dwt Chain and clip length: 5.5" Chain thickness: 1.2mm  The watch is in non-working condition. The dial enamel has some hairline crazing. The case is in very good condition. The coin has wear and loss of detail.
