Eight individual character sketch offsets on laid paper after George Caleb Bingham (Missouri, 1811-1879), individual Bingham figures that were used in larger well-known scenes such as County Election and Stump Speaking. Published in a limited edition of 500 by Bingham Sketches Inc. in November 1975 (each is numbered 271/500).
Each sheet is unframed, measuring 14" x 11".
Seven of the sheets are in good condition, noting some bending at the edges and mild overall toning to the sheets. One of the eight sheets (titled Boatman) is in a bit worse condition than the rest, with some stains, rippling, and more pronounced toning.
